@Cassie Martin, to answer your question, the trivia info you added either wasnt appropriate for the trivia section or had little to no relation to The Gifted itself. For instance, the first point of Lauren's powers being compared to Invisible Woman. Says who? Where's the validity in that statement? And points like Lauren admitting to what she likes, that's not trivia. If anything, if would go to personality as it speaks to the person she's becoming. I hope this answers your question.
Hello there, sorry for bothering you on other wiki.
I'm just gonna ask why you block my account/ip for editing the wiki, while i'm just add the smallest detail for episode/comic page
First, when i'm edited the comic page.I'm added the tagline that you guys doesn't add in the sinopsis.I got he tagline from the Goodreads.
And second,i'm just added a little detail about the situation how character feelings in chapter two and three page.
Like 10-11 months ago sometimes i'm helping you guys add the smallest detail on the episode.I'm goes by name "SilverArrow",but it got deleted because a problem with my email.Just wanna sure, maybe your will remember
Sorry for bothering you again, just want to clear things out. Thanks
You were blocked bc you were adding no sense to the episode plots. You were making correctly structured sentences grammatically incorrect and they just didn't make sense. You did that several times, and each edit I had to revert.
I have other things that require my attention at the moment, so yeah, I've kinda fallen back on the summaries for the moment. The plan is to wait for the next extended break (winter finale/midseason finale?) and catch up with editing then. But sure, if you wanna help with the summaries, you're more than welcome to. It would be appreciated. Dont worry about images. I can add those at a later time as well. This is pretty much what I did last season
Something that always gets me worried and confused is when this Wiki tries to decipher which Frost Sister is which. To me, I feel like the community does a great job trying to set a role for who is who but to me, I feel like some of the information is wrong when trying to figure out which Frost Sister is which. To me, I separate the sisters by their original personality from the comics:
Sophie is the sweet talker one. She's the one who is kind to others and her sisters and usually wants to avoid conflict.
Phoebe is the mean girl. She's the smart talker and always like to stir up 'drama', so to speak. She's pretty straightforward which is usually upsetting to those around her.
Esme is the manipulative one, especially when it comes to her telepathy.
All of these personality traits are shown very well by Skylar Samuels, though, others find it difficult trying to figure out which sister she's playing, especially when it comes to when there's just two of them.
My question is how do you yourself figure which sister is which? Some information needs to be changed throughout the wiki but I just want to know how you know who is who when it comes to the Frost Sisters, just in case I'm somehow wrong.
Closed Caption. If you turn CC on during the episode, a lot of the time, It'll tell you who is who. Also, going off of CC and promo images released from the network, Esme is always on the middle. Phoebe is left and Sophie is right
When putting a character's allegiance up, do we put the Inner Circle or the Hellfire Club? I don't know if it is that important but the show tries to make a distinction between the two and it seems like Andy and Lorna are more tied with the Inner Circle than the actual Hellfire Club organization.
I would like to request a quotes section to be included in the episode/character pages.
More importantly, how good is season 2 tho!? The premiere did not disappoint, what a strong start to the season. I also want to inform you that I am catching up to episode 2 and I will be back to contributing to this wiki!
Sounds good to me. It was always a thought but I just don't have the time to do them myself between managing everything here and over at the RD Wiki
S2 has been amazing so far. And it looks like things are only getting better. Reeva was a great addition to the cast IMO. She's not your typical antagonist. I'm not even gonna call her a villain or the bad guy. Tthat's great to hear. I can always use the help. I'll try to get the screencaps up today for ep 2
Great. And I agree with you on Reeva. She kinda has that Thanos vibe going. From what I've gathered from the premiere, is that she's an antagonist that you can empathise with and that is what makes it even better. Not everything is black and white and her political agenda, even though she implements unorthodox means to futher it, is actually justifiable. She isn't simply doing these heinous acts of killing accomplices for her own personal gain, she's doing it as a means of mutant's survival. I like that she stood by Lorna as she was giving birth instead of killing the baby so that they don't raise the authorities' suspicion of their location.
That's exactly who she is. Her actions have been known to leave a body count, but she isn't killing simply for the thrill of it. She does it when she feels as if she has no other choice. They're living in a world of grey, and the writers have been vocal about that. And you can definitely empathize with her motives and intentions. She just wants a homeland for mutants. No matter the cost.
Yeah. It seems to me that most characters like Reeva are destined to defeat or death in these situations. We all know Thanos will sadly be defeated in Avengers 4 so that half of the population can return. I just hope that they don't kill her off too.
Btw, where should I put the quotes section in the character/episode pages, and should we separate the quotes into seasons or just list all of them chronologically?
Update: I also created the dialogue template from Riverdale Wiki
While that is true, that characters like Reeva are destined to lose, I have a bit more faith that it won't end so badly for her. Like I said, the writers have been vocal that this isn;t a black and white world and that Reeva isn't a big bad. They see it, like us, as two different factions, who have the same goals but different ways of going about accomplishing them. But Thanos is definitely going down. No doubt about that. He wiped out too many heroes for it to stay the way it is.
For episode pages, it can go under the Cast section. For character pages, it can go under the Abilities and Skills section
Yeah, that is true. Reeva's path to freedom is through war, propelled by force and violence, whilst the Mutant Underground advocate freedom through non-violent means, such as resistance. This is seen through their rescuing of mutants hunted by the authority. While Hellfire Circle's way produces a faster solution, the Mutant Underground's way produces a slow but stable solution. So a philosophical question that can be applied here is "does the end justify the means?".
Since you did not answer my previous question:
should we separate the quotes into seasons or just list all of them chronologically?
I am assuming that we are going with the second option since it's less work with the formatting. For now, I think just listing the quotes in order instead of separating it into seasons may be a good thing until the list gets really long. What do you think?
Also, for the character's quote section, are we only including quotes by the character, or can we also include quotes said by other characters about that character. And also, can we include dialogue between the character and other characters?
For me, the ends justify the means. The Underground isn't producing many results. Had it gone their way, Campbell and Montez would still be alive and the Hound program would've expanded by now. What Lorna did, saved a lot of mutants from death/enslavement. That's how I see it.
Sorry. Guess I missed it. Listing the quotes in order should work fine for now
Quotes said by other characters about that character is cool. Dialogue can got too if you want
