Max was a recurring character on FOX's The Gifted. He is portrayed by James Carpinello.
He was a Mutant hitman whose team is currently in the employ of The Inner Circle.
Early Life[]
Max’s team were involved in something called the Ignavus cruise ship massacre, an event in which thousands of innocent people, including children were killed. Afterwards they were captured and sent to three separate prisons. Max escaped when the Inner Circle destroyed the system that controlled the Mutant Inhibitor collars across the country, allowing him and his teammates to escape captivity.

- Combustion - Max possesses the ability to charge objects with explosive energy. When Max would charge an object with a degree of explosive energy, one of his teammates Heather would teleport the object to a safe distance and their other teammate Tico would set off the explosion with his ability to create shockwaves.
