David Blair Redford is an American actor. He portrays Thunderbird on FOX's The Gifted.

Biography

Blair was born on July 27, 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia, where he attended Sequoyah High School. However, upon graduating, he turned down scholarships in order to pursue his acting career. That started small, with activities such as performing and doing stunts at Georgia's Renaissance Festival. He is of French, German, Irish, and Native American descent.

His career began with open call that permitted him a seat as a team member for the WB Road Crew. A spending a year and a half on the road crew, he moved to Los Angeles, and shortly after that, he landed the a recurring role on the hit soap opera, The Young and the Restless. Redford portrayed a character named Scotty Grainger. In another role he is well known for, Blair landed his landed his first starring role in a film as Nash Rambler in Dance of the Dead.

He's also known for The Young and the Restless and Passions. Above all, the two roles he is known best for was his portrayal of Ethan Whitehorse in The Lying Game, which he had a leading role for, and Tyler Mendoza in Switched at Birth, in a recurring spot.
