Dawn is the newborn daughter of Polaris and Eclipse.
Throughout the Series
Season 1
In eXposed, Reed Strucker reveals to Polaris that she is pregnant, and then to Eclipse later on.
In rX, while Lorna is imprisoned, a fellow prisoner beats her up and begins kicking her stomach. Despite wearing a mutant collar, Polaris is able to use her powers to stop the prisoner out of anger.
In boXed in, Lorna and Marcos discuss baby names. Lorna offers Aurora if the baby is a girl because when she and Marcos combine powers, they produce an effect similar to the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). Marcos offered the name Rory if the baby is a boy as it is similar to the name Aurora.
Season 2
In eMergence, Dawn is born in a munitions warehouse. She also appears in the telepathic vision of a future, where mutants have secured a safe world for themselves, that is implanted in her mother's head by the Frost Sisters in an effort to overcome her mental block.
